The ORA Legislative Committee is committed to tracking state legislation, informing legislators, and advocating for the interests of county recording offices and land records throughout Ohio. By closely monitoring House Bills and Senate Bills, the committee thoroughly examines and offers testimony on legislation it deems advantageous to Ohio's offices and constituents. Additionally, the ORA actively pursues legislative initiatives aimed at safeguarding records, advancing technology, and enhancing services for Ohio's constituents.
