2023 ORA TREASURER

BARBARA SCHAAB

My name is Barbara Schaab and I am privileged to serve as Ashtabula County Recorder.  I was elected in 2012 and began my first term in office in January of 2013.  I am currently finishing my third term and very much looking forward to continuing my service.

I have been a resident of Ashtabula County for 40 years and reside in Austinburg Twp. with my husband.  I graduated from Lake Catholic High School and attended the University of Dayton.  We raised three wonderful children here, and have been blessed with a grandson and a great-grandson!

I have previously served on the Ohio Recorders’ Association Welcome Committee and Legislative Committee. I am extremely honored to now serve the ORA on the Executive Committee. I love assisting the residents of Ashtabula County and working with my fellow Recorders across the state.
